The new design and reading tools use local assets only, do not collect data and do not use storage. Legacy Google Fonts support is retained; choose the system font in Design & reading to use local system typography.

== Native homepage setup ==
Choose Your latest posts in Settings > Reading for the original split-panel feed. Set a Header Image and edit Theme Options > Header Media Options > Header Media Text in the Customizer. Optional Jetpack portfolio and testimonial sections remain available when that plugin is installed; no sample testimonials are inserted. Assign your menu under Appearance > Menus.
The optional Block canvas template is also available for custom pages. It does not replace the original homepage layout. Demo content is never imported automatically.
